Hi there! I'm Sherri, and I'm so glad you're here! I'm a proud Michigander who moved to Georgia 15 years ago and fell in love with the peach state. I'm also a wife, a mom of four amazing kids, and a teacher at a title I school in Lawrenceville. I teach Business Education to high school students, and I love seeing them learn new skills and earn industry certifications in Microsoft Products. Teaching is my calling, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of my students.

What I like to do

I'm a Christian woman who loves to share my faith and life experiences with others. In this post, I want to tell you a little bit about myself and what I enjoy doing.

I have a group of friends from all over the country that I like to meet every week for a bible study. We use Zoom to connect and discuss God's word and how it applies to our lives. Currently we are studying the book of Elijah with a study by Priscilla Shirer. She is an amazing teacher and speaker who inspires us to be bold and courageous for God. I always learn something new and feel challenged to grow in my relationship with Him.

One of my passions is singing. I love to worship God with my voice and praise Him for all He has done for me. I also like to make jewelry, especially earrings and bracelets. I find it relaxing and fun to create different designs and colors. I give them as gifts to my friends and family.

Another thing I enjoy is traveling. I have been to many places in the US and abroad, such as Canada, Mexico, England, France, Italy, Germany, and more. I love to explore new cultures and see the beauty of God's creation.

Last but not least, I love to play piano when I have time. I started taking lessons when I was a kid and I practice when I have an extra minute. Playing piano helps me express my emotions and worship God in a different way. I also like to play songs that I know or compose my own melodies.
